Out of curiosity I decided to boot up Windows 10 and it ran fine, getting on the Internet with no problems. My i7 PC also has Windows 10, along with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, besides running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Told me something must be amiss with my PC shown in my signature line below. Called up my Internet provider and they checked all their equipment, Modem, Router, connections, signal strengths, etc, and they said all is fine on their end. The only thing I can't do is get on the Internet. Right now everything else plays/runs fine on 22.04 LTS. It was running fine all week until losing Internet yesterday. Late yesterday afternoon Ubuntu 22.04 LTS can't get on the Internet anymore.
